Financial Services

AI scores the payment, reads the loan file, drafts the case narrative and answers the customer.

48AI use cases
12Tier-1 must-haves
11business functions

Financial services runs on decisions taken in milliseconds and defended long afterwards. A card authorisation is scored before the terminal responds; the same decision has to be explained to a supervisory authority after the fact, with the data and the model version behind it. The material feeding those decisions — transaction histories, KYC files, call recordings, and the chat and voice traffic your surveillance team reads — is the most closely held data your organisation has.

Neor builds the platform underneath those decisions and runs it on hardware you own, inside your own jurisdiction. Models are trained and served on your transaction data, your loan and trade documents and your policy corpus; prompts, screening records and call transcripts stay inside the boundary, and the weights learned from them stay in your registry. Every layer is assembled from open, auditable components, so the model-risk team can read the thing it is asked to validate. Then we hand it to your engineers, with the source, the runbooks and the operating knowledge to run it — so the team that has to answer the examiner also owns the platform that produced the answer.

Why it has to be sovereign

What is at stake in this industry

Decisions you must defend

Underwriting, screening and surveillance decisions are examined by people who were not there when they were taken. When the model, its version history and the prompt trail sit in your own registry, the answer comes from records you hold.

Customer records that cannot travel

KYC files, call recordings and adverse-media matches identify real people. Screening a name against a watchlist on an endpoint you do not run means the record of that check lives somewhere you cannot produce it from.

Milliseconds, on your own network

A payment risk score has to return before the authorisation does. Inference that sits on the same network as your switch and your ledgers is an architectural requirement here, not a preference about where data lives.

Where the use cases live

Every use case sits in a business function that already has an owner, a budget and a set of systems. Jump to any function below.

014 use cases

Customer Acquisition & Marketing

Propensity and next-best-action models run on transaction and holdings data, so outreach is decided by behaviour rather than a campaign list.

023 use cases · 1 Tier-1

KYC & Client Onboarding

Document agents classify, extract and verify corporate onboarding files; event-driven checks keep the record current between refresh cycles.

033 use cases · 1 Tier-1

AML & Financial Crime

Behavioural and network scoring ranks real risk over alert volume; investigators get the case collated and the SAR narrative drafted for review.

046 use cases · 2 Tier-1

Fraud & Payments Security

Scoring on the authorisation path, graph analysis over account and device networks, and liveness checks where voice can now be cloned.

055 use cases · 2 Tier-1

Credit, Lending & Collections

Explainable models price thin-file borrowers, document pipelines read the loan file, and early-warning signals surface deterioration while remediation is still possible.

063 use cases · 2 Tier-1

Customer Service & Engagement

Assistants resolve routine servicing end to end, agents get answers mid-call, and complaint themes are pulled out of unstructured text.

075 use cases · 2 Tier-1

Wealth & Asset Management

Advisor copilots draft notes and follow-ups; research agents read filings, transcripts and your corpus at a volume analysts cannot keep pace with.

084 use cases

Capital Markets & Treasury

Forecasting, pre-trade analytics and settlement-fail prediction sit front to back, on the flow and position data you already produce.

093 use cases

Risk Management

Model inventories outpace validation capacity and scenario runs stay manual; stress testing and climate overlays are compute the platform beneath must carry.

105 use cases

Operations & Back Office

Contracts, payment breaks, reconciliation and trade documents are read and routed by machine, with exceptions raised early instead of at close.

117 use cases · 2 Tier-1

Compliance, Regulatory & Internal Productivity

Surveillance across trades, chat and voice, obligations mapped from new rules, and assistants and code copilots across the rest of the firm.

Three sensible first deployments

01

Lending Document Processing (Mortgage / Consumer IDP)

The loan file is bounded, the extraction is measurable against the keyed record, and nothing about it needs to leave your network.

02

Contact Center Agent Assist & Auto-Summarization

Transcription and retrieval over your own knowledge base can be measured inside one servicing queue, on recordings that never leave the contact centre.

03

Developer Copilot & Code Assistant

It puts the platform in the hands of the engineers who will operate it, and keeps your source code inside the boundary.
